Snoop Dogg is returning to the big screen, starring in and co-producing The Last Man, a sci-fi adventure directed by acclaimed filmmaker Luc Besson. This marks their second collaboration, following the 2006 animated film Arthur and the Invisibles. The project will be produced through Snoop’s Death Row Pictures banner, in partnership with Besson and Virginie Besson-Silla of EuropaCorp.
While plot details remain largely confidential, The Last Man is rumored to be a post-apocalyptic narrative inspired by classic sci-fi influences like Planet of the Apes and Snoop’s own song “Last Man Standing.” The film is expected to blend Besson’s signature mix of sci-fi, comedy and action-reminiscent of his cult classic The Fifth Element.
Scheduled to begin filming in 2025, The Last Man promises to be an innovative fusion of science fiction storytelling and Snoop Dogg’s distinctive creative vision.
