A promotional video for the first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle anime film has been unveiled.
Koyoharu Gotouge’s popular manga-turned-globally-acclaimed anime series premiered To the Hashira Training, the fourth season in the spring of this year. After a short run of 8 episodes, the anime concluded with an hour-long special that set the stage for its final arc — Infinity Castle.
Since the Mugen Train Arc, fans of Demon Slayer are used to receiving a feature-length theatrical release before the new TV anime season airs, with the film either being a compact version of the season or simply the first episode. But with Infinity Castle, the producers have confirmed it will be a film trilogy.
The latest promotional video recaps the final moments of Season 4’s finale. As the video ends on a climactic cliffhanger, words appear over the screen in an ominous tone, confirming that “The battleground is set.”
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is set to premiere in theaters sometime in 2025 and will be officially distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment worldwide.
