The Porsche World Road Show (PWRS) 2024 roars back to Pathum Thani Speedway in Bangkok Thailand, offering fans the opportunity to get behind the wheel of some of the most exciting sports cars the brand has to offer. Running from November 16 to 25, the event features 26 Porsche models, with highlights including the 718 Cayman GT4 RS and the race-inspired 911 GT3 RS.
Hypebeast’s day at the event included slalom tests in the Spyder RS, avoidance maneuvers in the 911 Carrera S, proving ground runs in the GT3 and GT4 RS, a road tour in a police-escorted convoy and much more. Additionally, certified Porsche instructors from Thailand and Europe are on hand to guide participants through a full day of driving activities designed to cater to drivers of all experience levels.
The GT4 RS and GT3 RS, renowned for their motorsport pedigree, take center stage at the event. The GT4 RS brings an exciting track experience with a naturally aspirated 4.0L flat-six engine, while the GT3 RS offers enhanced aerodynamics and advanced chassis tuning, delivering unparalleled performance on the raceway.
Beyond the RS models, attendees can explore Porsche’s evolving portfolio, including the updated Taycan and the all-electric Macan, both making their Thai track debuts. The Taycan Turbo GT, with its 1,000 hp and innovative “Attack Mode” power boost, underscores Porsche’s commitment to electrified performance.
“The Porsche World Road Show is our way of sharing the purest Porsche experience,” shared Winthorn Bunnag, Acting Managing Director of Porsche Thailand, adding “From thrilling track exercises to showcasing our latest innovations, it’s an event not to be missed.”
