The Weeknd has debuted a Hurry Up Tomorrow special edition vinyl LP featuring artwork by longtime collaborator Hajime Sorayama.
The upcoming variant’s cover sees the renowned Japanese artist slightly depart from his signature look in order to capture Hurry Up Tomorrow’s theme of rebirth. Sorayama designs an image of a child submerged under water, dressed in a experimental suit with different cords attached; the cover is still attached to the artist’s more traditional work of technology and sci-fi, but also expresses The Weeknd’s desire of resurrection.
Hurry Up Tomorrow will mark the final installment in The Weeknd’s latest album trilogy, which is also comprised of After Hours and Dawn FM. In addition to the music album, the project will be expanded into a feature film starring Jenna Ortega, Barry Keoghan and The Weeknd himself.
Stay tuned for an official release date for Hurry Up Tomorrow.
