‘Euphoria’ Season 3 To Begin Production in January With 8 Episodes

'Euphoria' Season 3 To Begin Production in January With 8 Episodes

HBO/Max boss Casey Bloys is officially shutting down rumors of Euphoria‘s cancellation.

He confirmed that the show is still very much on track for Season 3 and will begin production early next year. “We are shooting ‘Euphoria,’” Bloys said during an HBO/Max press event.” I think we have a start date, mid to late January. Nothing’s changed. Somebody said something online, and then this whole thing started. We are shooting the season. I have read the scripts. We’re happy. We’re moving ahead. All of the actors are in the show.”

The exec’s announcement puts fans’ worries to rest as many were concerned that the scheduling conflicts of the main cast could put Euphoria on hold for good. Variety notes that Zendaya could begin filming for the new Christopher Nolan film in early 2025 on top of the possible Spider-Man 4, while Jacob Elordi will be in the UK for Emerald Fennel’s Wuthering Heights.

“I know the show gets a lot of attention now because, you know, it has created some genuine movie stars, and they have various projects that are working on, but we are shooting this season, so nothing has changed,” he added. “It’s eight episodes.”

Returning in the main cast alongside Zendaya and Elordi are Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Storm Reid, Alexa Demie and Eric Dane.
