Westside Gunn Keeps His Halloween Tradition Alive With ’11’ EP

Westside Gunn Keeps His Halloween Tradition Alive With '11' EP

Halloween has become the unofficial Westside Gunn drop day. The Griselda rapper has been known to drop a project on or around Halloween every year, kicking off the tradition with Hitler Wears Hermes on October 13, and following suit with routine releases of the mixtape series’ Hitler Wears Hermes 4, Hitler Wears Hermes 5 and Hitler Wears Hermes 6 on every Halloween Day from 2016 through 2018. Hitler Wears Hermes 7 then dropped on November 1, 2019, while Gunn delivered And Then You Pray For Me last year on October 13.

This Halloween, however, Gunn seems to have more momentum than ever. On the heels of his Saucony partnership announcement and foray into the wrestling world with 4th Rope, the rapper dropped off the follow-up to October 2022’s 10 EP 11, to kick off one of the rapper’s biggest weeks yet.

11 is the first of two releases from the rapper landing this week, with his full-length album Still Praying – the follow-up to And Then You Pray For Me – landing on Friday, November 1.

11 is the most personal project I ever made, it’s dedicated to my brother who was killed in April, but narrated by my brother who has life in prison fighting to come home,” Gunn said in a statement. “This is the reality for Westside Gunn”

The project was fully spearheaded by the Buffalo rapper, with no features and production coming from Denny Laflare. Find the full tracklist below.
