Aston Martin has introduced the DB12 “Goldfinger Edition,” a new release commemorating 60 years of partnership with the James Bond franchise. Inspired by the brand’s cinematic debut in the 1964 film Goldfinger, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition is aptly limited to just 60 units.
Crafted by the marque’s bespoke division, Q by Aston Martin, the car channels Bond’s legacy through luxurious design elements. Presented in Silver Birch, the signature color of the iconic DB5, the DB12 Goldfinger boasts 21-inch multi-spoke wheels, gold side strakes and an exclusive chrome “Q” badge. Inside, leather Sports Plus seats are styled with a fluted pattern, chosen as a nod to Bond’s signature suit. Additional 18k gold-plated accents on the gear selector and dials allude to the golden tracking device featured in Goldfinger. Under the hood, the DB12 Goldfinger houses a 4L V8 Twin-Turbo engine producing 670 hp. Additionally, the Bowers & Wilkins audio system ensures an immersive soundtrack.
A playful tribute to Bond aficionados, the “eight of hearts” motif — seen in Goldfinger‘s Miami pool scene — appears embroidered on the driver’s sun visor. Each car also comes with unique gifts, including a section of the Furka Pass film reel, a custom model in Silver Birch and a vintage 2007 Bollinger Champagne set, all presented in a Globe-Trotter attaché case mirroring the car’s design.
“The relationship between Aston Martin and the James Bond franchise is always treasured,” said Marco Mattiacci, Aston Martin’s Global Chief Brand Officer, adding “This limited-edition celebrates the extraordinary legacy of our first Bond car with subtle, impactful touches.”
Details on price and availability for the DB12 Goldfinger Edition are available via Aston Martin’s official channels, with deliveries expected to begin later in 2025.
