It’s been a big week for NIGO. After officially announcing his layered and long-term Nike partnership on Monday, the designer is set to get in his music bag towards the end of this week, slated to drop “Dope Boy” – a collaborative single with Young Thug – on Friday.
NIGO revealed the news of the single’s imminent release on his Instagram story earlier today, sharing a brief snippet of the cut’s music video.
“Dope boy Nikes / Dope boy Nikes,” Thug spits over the Wheezy-produced beat.
In the preview, NIGO is seen lacing up a pair of his new NIGO x Nike Air Force 3 Low “Blue Void” sneakers. He also puts on a set of “I know NIGO!”-branded headphones before skirting off in a red Porsche.
Steven Victor also shared news of the track’s release on his Instagram page, unveiling “Dope Boy”‘s cover art.
“Album soon,” Victor further indicated in the caption.
Take a first listen to the track in the snippet above, and check back in on Friday, September 27 when “Dope Boy” drops on DSPs everywhere.
