The true crime network behind the Quiet on Set, the documentary exposing the toxic behind-the-scenes environments on child TV shows, has a new project in the works. Investigation Discovery (ID) has announced a docuseries on the “rise and fall” of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“As accounts of sexual assault, abusive behaviors, and other disturbing claims surface, the doc traces the story of this self-proclaimed Bad Boy, unraveling allegations of a pattern of depravity,” says ID, which will be working with the same producer from Quiet on Set, Maxine Productions.
The news arrives just a day after Combs was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs pleaded not guilty in a Manhattan courthouse and is being held without bail.
The series, which has yet to receive a title, will explore allegations of violent behavior and illegal activity against Combs, using testimonies from those who have accused him and fellow artists who have collaborated with him.
Netflix has its own docuseries on Diddy in the works, produced by 50 Cent. In May, the streamer bought the series in a bidding war.
