Eminem is following up his recent MTV VMAs performance with the extended edition of The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) .
His latest record’s Mourner’s Edition features a total of four brand new tracks, including one skit and “Fuel” with Westside Boogie and Grip and “Kyrie & Luka” with 2 Chainz. The album was earlier teased with a short visual that saw Eminem eerily walk into a convenience store manned by none other than The Alchemist, who is left spooked with Em’s visit.
The original version opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 281,000 equivalent album units in its first week. It gave the rapper his 11th chart-topping album to tie him with Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand and Ye for the fifth-most No. 1s on the chart, and also earned the biggest sales week for a rap album in 2024 at the time of its release. It was also the year’s second-largest sales week for a digital album behind Taylor Swift.
