Chance the Rapper Embraces the Lows on New Single “3,333”

Chance the Rapper Embraces the Lows on New Single “3,333”

Chance the Rapper has reflected on his journey as a rapper, including a few of the lowest moments in his career, on the new song “3,3333,” featuring cover art created by his 8-year-old daughter, Kensli Bennett.

The title of the song nods to a recent concert in which he sold only 3,333 tickets to a venue at the Minnesota State Fair, which was capable of holding 14,000 attendees.

“At this point you should probably think of pulling out and / What they gon’ say when videos coming out / Saying “He was on the top but he fell from the mountain,”” he raps. “Know you in that stu with that pen and that MPC / But you should worry ’bout these empty seats.”

After getting the call from his agent, Chance went ahead with the performance anyway, playing cuts from his upcoming Star Line album. He may not have the same visibility he had during his Coloring Book years but Chance isn’t letting that deter him.

Listen to Chance the Rapper’s “3,333” everywhere now.
