Drake is updating his 100 Gigs release with the official drop of “Circadian Rhythm” on streaming services.
The two-minute cut, which features production from London Cyr, Ben10k, Eli Brown and Gordo, was first released on The Boy’s finsta @plottttwistttttt last week alongside “SOD” and “No Face” with Playboi Carti. The song’s appearance on digital streaming platforms, however, joins the 100 Gigs three-pack EP from early August and serves as a replacement for “Blue Green Red.” 100 Gigs’ other tracks, “Housekeeping Knows” featuring Latto and “It’s Up” with Young Thug and 21 Savage, still remain in the updated version.
Fans initially speculated that “Circadian Rhythm” was Drizzy’s response to Kendrick Lamar’s “6:16 in LA” diss track as Dot rapped, “Often, I know this type of power is gon’ cost / But I live in circadian rhythms of a shooting star,” although there is nothing specific in “Circadian Rhythm” that’s aimed directly at the pgLang rapper.
