Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are amidst the final leg of their 2024 stadium tour, marking the 52nd year of their legendary career. But during a concert in Philadelphia on Friday night, Springsteen rejected any notion that the band’s time on the road is coming to an end.
“We’ve been around for 50 fuckin’ years, and we ain’t quitting!” Springsteen proclaimed. “We ain’t doing no farewell tour bullshit! Jesus Christ! No farewell tour for the E Street Band! Farewell to what? A thousand people screaming your name? Get the hell out. I ain’t going anywhere!”
