Ye and Ty Dolla $ign opens this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 2 with VULTURES 2.
The second installment in their album trilogy debuts with a total of 107,000 equivalent album units in its first week, about 41,000 units less than its predecessor which opened at No. 1. That sum includes 60,500 in album sales, 46,000 in streaming equivalent album units (50.44 million on-demand streams of the songs) and 500 in track equivalent album units. This marks Ye’s 13th entry in the chart’s top two, and Ty’s third in the top five.
Elsewhere on the chart is Taylor Swift, who defends her No. 1 position, as well Chappell Roan, whose The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess marks a new peak at No. 3. Morgan Wallen moves to No. 4, followed by Billie Eilish at No. 5. Making up the rest of this week’s top 10 are Charli XCX, Zach Bryan, Wallen again, Noah Kahan and the Twisters soundtrack from Nos. 6 to 10, respectively.
