Valhalla Garage and Headers Inc. have announced an exciting new collaboration: RACE 4, The Valhalla Collection. This unique collection, crafted by creative director Huang Hwa, revives the spirit of air-cooled Porsches, blending automotive passion with bold graphic design.
Named after the mythic Norse Hall of Slain Warriors, Valhalla Garage brings old Porsche models back to life. Hwa’s passion for these iconic cars is highlighted through Headers’ creative lens, resulting in a collection that embodies endless creativity and authenticity. The Valhalla Collection features designs that pay homage to legendary moments in automotive history. Notably, the Victory sign, inspired by Steve McQueen’s famous salute in the movie Le Mans, integrates Valhalla and Headers branding, symbolizing triumph and rebellion.
Another standout piece is the Gauge Cluster T-shirt, which features images of Porsche gauges collected over the years. This artisanal shirt combines the Headers logo with a spec sheet, making it a must-have for enthusiasts. Other highlights the 911RS IROC Homage Car — originally an eighties 911 Turbo, this car has been transformed by Hwa over 20 years into a masterpiece with a 3L big valve SC engine, high-compression pistons, PMO ITBs and a 915 gearbox. The bumpers and ducktail are fiberglass and the wheels are custom BBS RS upsized to 17”.
The collection also includes a one-of-a-kind Porsche Lamp, made from various Porsche parts collected over the years. This functional piece of automotive art features components like the 944 RHD Headlamp, 964 High-intensity windscreen washer pump, and more. During the launch day of the collaboration, the two brands put on a show, disassembling a rare 1966 Porsche 912, imported from the UK. This event was part theater and part automotive archaeology, showcasing the meticulous process of reviving a vintage Porsche.
“A collaboration is what happens when two entities have shared goals. When Lawson asked if I’d be keen, it was literally a no-brainer. We not only have the same goals but we have the same vibes too,” shared Huang Hwa of Valhalla Garage. Lawson Lee of Headers Inc. shared a similar sentiment, stating “The design and expression from Valhalla direction comes from the inspiration of the ’70s motorsport tone and by fusing Headers progressive design style really sets off the vibe of the collection — echoes of the past, voices of the future.”
The RACE 4 Valhalla Collection is available now via Headers Inc.’s storefront in Malaysia and it’s official website, while supplies last.
