As the anticipation for Arcane’s second and final installment continues to build, Riot Games has decided to bring more news related to this much-hyped IP. Alongside Fortiche and Melcher Media, the key contributors in bringing Arcane’s incredibly animated world to life, Riot Games has also joined forces with Insight Editions for a book release.
Titled The Art and Making of Arcane, the book serves as a chronicle of everything behind the League of Legends-inspired series. From never-before-seen artwork, early character designs to over 20 in-depth interviews featuring showrunners, directors, key animators, writers, game designers and musicians.
Three editions will be offered, which include the Artifact Edition, Portfolio Editions and the Standard Edition. The Artifact Edition and Portfolio editions both come with exclusive add-ons and exclusive items. All three editions of the book will come with a Jinx poster, an in-world blueprint, a Vander letter, a removable map of Piltover as well as fold-out spreads featuring content from both seasons of the series. In addition, a Jinxed Edition has also been revealed. Limited to 40 copies, this edition is said to include special bonus treasures that are unavailable anywhere else.
