While rumors of Future‘s next mixtape have been circulating the internet for the past months, some more concrete info has surfaced courtesy of one of the project’s presumed producers Southside.
“I’m working on Mixtape Pluto with Future right now. I’ve been working a lot with Roddy Ricch, too. It’s a new sound, like a whole new vibe,” Southside said in a recent interview with XXL.
“I’m ready to get these albums out, get this music out and start doing shows.”

Future has also referenced the project in posts on X, writing back at the end of May: “I can’t sleep until it’s complete #MIXTAPEPLUTO.”
Earlier this week, Future celebrated the nine-year anniversary of his DS2 album, dropping off the unreleased music video for the album’s cut “Rotation” on his Instagram. “Unreleased, nine years later DS2 PLUTO back,” he wrote in the caption.
