Back in May, Max revealed the first official teaser trailer for its new TV series Dune: Prophecy, which follows the story of the Bene Gesserit sisters. Now the network has revealed the series’ second official teaser trailer, offering another look at what’s to come from the series, which is inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson’s 2012 novel, Sisterhood of Dune.
“You wish to serve the great houses and shape the flow of power. You must first excerpt power over yourself.”
The new series builds on the widespread acclaim of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune, Dune: Part Two and the forthcoming Dune: Part Three. But this storyline specifically follows the creation of the Bene Gesserit, 10,000 years before the birth of Paul Atreides. Although short – clocking in at a mere one minute and ten seconds – the second teaser trailer offers a glimpse of the conflict within the Imperium and the creation of the Bene Gesserit sisterhood by two Harkonnen sisters as they enact power and control amongst the great houses.
The show features cast members, Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham and more.
Stay tuned for the six-episode Dune: Prophecy, which is set to premiere this November.
