After previewing the heat-infused track on his On The Radar “Mischievous Cypher” earlier this week, Denzel Curry has dropped the official video for “HOT ONE” with assistance from A$AP Ferg and TiaCorine.
A classic high-voltage Curry cut, the just-under three-minute offering is carried by bars delivered by the rapper’s Big Ultra persona – an elevated, more braggadocious version of his Raven Miyagi persona, behind King Of The Mischievous South.
“I can make money from the comfort of my sofa (Sofa) / So much drive, now I gotta get a chauffeur (Chauffeur) / One day, I’ll be big, but I know I’m gettin’ closer (Closer) / Call me Denzel, AKA Big Ultra,” he kicks off the first verse.
“HOT ONE” is set to appear on Curry’s imminent King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2, which is due everywhere on July 19.
Set to explore the rapper’s South Florida-based narrative, the project also features last October’s “SKED” with Kenny Mason and Project Pat, as well as features from A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Maxo Kream, Juicy J, 2 Chainz and many others.
