Ferg has been rolling in the fast lane as of late, making it clear he’s plotting his return. After unleashing “MDMX” earlier this month – and dropping the A$AP from his name – the rapper continues to cruise forward, hopping back in the driver’s seat for “Roemello.”
Like “MDMX”, the track has not yet made its way over to streaming services quite yet and is exclusively available to stream on YouTube and Soundcloud.
While Ferg’s flow is alluring and the production is pristine, it’s the “Roemello” visual that stands out the most. The music video sees the rapper flex a bevy of luxury vehicles, including historic art cars by Barbara Kruger, Virgil Abloh, Damien Hirst, Esther Mahlangu and many others.
“Right now, I’m with my brother Larry Wash and we’re gonna be checking out these beautiful art cars right now,” Ferg opens, before performing the high-octane track from different driver’s seats.
“I’m sippin’ espresso (What?!) / Grindin’ stayin’ up, I ain’t tryna go back to the ghetto (What?!) / Wesley Snipe-in’ b*tches, pulling up like I’m Roemello,” he opens.
Ferg initially previewed “Roemello” with A$AP Rocky earlier this month, taking to Instagram Live to share footage of the two delivering the track. Whether another version of “Roemello” with Rocky is set to surface in the future remains unclear, but Ferg has made it real clear that he’s capable of riding solo.
