Jeep Unveils the All-New Avenger 4xe

Jeep has announced the arrival of the Avenger 4xe, an SUV that combines the distinctive design and versatility of the Avenger with the high-performance all-wheel-drive system that Jeep is known for. This latest addition to the Jeep lineup aims to enhance off-road excitement and all-weather drivability.

The Avenger 4xe features a Hybrid 48-volt powertrain coupled with Jeep’s exclusive all-wheel-drive technology and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This advanced system ensures that the 4×4 capability is always available without compromising fuel efficiency. Drivers can select the optimal driving mode for any situation using the “Selec-Terrain” function.

A standout feature of the Avenger 4xe is its new Multilink rear suspension, designed to provide increased articulation on the rear axle, resulting in more comfort on rough roads. The vehicle is powered by a 136 hp thermal engine paired with two 21 kW electric motors, delivering a combined torque of 1,400 lb-ft to the rear wheels. This setup allows the Avenger 4xe to reach speeds of up to 120 mph and accelerate from 0-60 mph in just over 9 seconds using the e-Boost function in Sport mode.

The new model comes with dedicated exteriors and interiors designed for increased functionality. Jeep has introduced two new trims: Upland and Overland, each offering unique features. The vehicle’s robust powertrain and innovative design make it a strong competitor in the B-SUV segment.

Eric Laforge, Head of Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe, remarked, “The Avenger is one of Jeep’s biggest success stories in Europe, with over 90,000 orders. The Avenger 4xe will set a new standard in the B-SUV segment, combining exclusive design with top performance and the full expression of Jeep’s all-wheel-drive legacy.”

While price has not yet been shared at the time of writing, orders for the Avenger 4xe are set to open in quarter 4 of this year.
