Luxury fashion store closes its doors after a decade in The Lanes

A luxury fashion store has closed its doors for the final time.

Our Daily Edit, in Ship Street, Brighton, opened a decade ago.

The shop stocked clothing, accessories and gifts from brands including Ganni, Snow Peak and Museum of Peace.

It closed on May 5 but will continue to operate online.

According to its website, the shop sells “a carefully curated selection of menswear, womenswear and lifestyle products from across the globe”.

A spokeswoman said: “Since we opened our doors back in 2014, ODE has been a reflection of the brands and makers who inspire us and we are proud to be the only UK stockist of a number of labels.

“Working with and supporting both independent and young designers, we value discovering new talent and those who place importance on sustainability and gender-neutral clothing.”

Writing on Instagram confirming the closure, the brand said: “Massive thanks to all of you who have come by and said bye and been so kind and supportive.

“It’s been a pretty emotional last few weeks and months and we can’t believe this is our last ever day open.”
