LVMH and CFDA have partnered on a video series featuring conversations with industry experts on sustainability, fashion and luxury. Entitled Voices of Impact, each episode of the show brings together executives, designers and brand owners for a round table discussion, offering multiple vantage points to relevant topics.
The show was created as part of LVMH’s overall “LIFE 360 program,” in which the conglomerate has set various “sustainable development targets” for its brands to meet in 2023, 2026 and 2030.
The debut episode, “Powering a Just Transformation,” will feature Tiffany & Co’s Director and Head of Sustainability & Philanthropy Annika Dubrall, jewelry brand founder Melissa Joy Manning and executives from LVMH and CFDA. Alan Mak, the founder of Version Tomorrow and a managing partner at Public School will moderate.
Other episodes center on biodiversity, brand innovation, climate action, purposeful growth of capital and circularity, the latter of which refers to the regeneration and reuse of clothing and textiles.
Not every episode includes a moderator – episode 4, “Circularity x Regeneration By Design,” is a one-on-one conversation between Collina Strada founder Hillary Taymour and Parley for the Oceans CEO Cyrill Gutsch.
All six episodes of Voices of Impact will premiere on VMH and CFDA’s digital channels on Wednesday, April 23, to coincide with Earth Week.
