Elvis Evolution, an AI-enhanced holographic concert by Layered Reality, is set to captivate London audiences this November. The show promises a “jaw-dropping” finale with a life-sized digital Elvis Presley performing iconic songs, marking his first-ever staged performance in the U.K.
The experience will utilize augmented reality, projection mapping, and multi-sensory effects across scent, sound and touch to deepen viewers’ immersive experiences. Attendees will be able to walk through a replica of Graceland, where they might catch a whiff of Elvis’s favorite fried peanut butter and banana sandwich, hear snippets of interviews or famous concert backstories and feel the ambiance shift as they move from the calm of his private life to the exhilaration of his performances.
Following the concert, the excitement continues at an Elvis-themed restaurant and bar in central London, where an after-party will feature live music, DJs and other performances. Andrew McGuinness, founder of Layered Reality, announced that after its London debut, the show will tour globally, hitting cities like Las Vegas, Berlin, and Tokyo.
Elvis Presley, a cultural icon with over 500 million records sold, remains a significant figure in music and popular culture. Coming in November, Elvis Evolution will invite fans to celebrate Elvis’ enduring legacy and extraordinary life through a pioneering format that blends historical homage with cutting-edge technology.
