Bentley has unveiled the Bentayga S Black Edition, a vehicle that for the first time in the automaker’s 105-year history, features black-tinted wings. This new addition stands as the most visually compelling iteration of the Bentley SUV to date, blending performance, style and advanced technology.
What makes the S Black Edition stand out is its design philosophy, marrying vivid accent colors with rich black detailing. Customers have the choice of personalizing their Bentayga with one of seven accent color specifications, ranging from vibrant “Mandarin” to subtle “Ice,” adding a unique element to the vehicle. This design extends from the exterior’s laser-like stripe accents and matching brake calipers to the interior’s handcrafted cabin, where splashes of color contrast beautifully against Beluga leather, embroidered with a black “S” emblem on each seat.
The exterior of the S Black Edition is further distinguished by its dark tint headlamps, 22-inch black-painted wheels and unique Black Edition badging, signaling the vehicle’s high performance and agility. Powered by a 4L twin-turbo V8 engine, the Bentayga S Black Edition boasts 540 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque, capable of 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph. This performance is matched by an agile chassis featuring all-wheel steering and sports suspension calibration, ensuring unparalleled dynamic ability and handling.
For those seeking an eco-friendly option without compromising on power or design, the S Black Edition is also available with a 450 hp hybrid powertrain, combining a 3L TFSI V6 petrol engine with a 100 kW electric motor-generator. This variant offers a seamless blend of efficiency and performance, capable of reaching 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 158 mph.
Bentley’s commitment to innovation and luxury is evident in the S Black Edition’s interior, where a new carbon fiber weave adds depth and sophistication. Paired with the Dark Chrome pack, the interior metal detailing is transformed, enhancing the cabin’s modern and refined atmosphere. Customers can also choose from three premium audio systems, for an immersive auditory experience that matches the vehicle’s performance prowess.
At the time of writing, the price and availability for the Bentayga S Black Edition have not yet been announced, however, it is expected to be somewhat of a limited-run production, with more information likely to follow via Bentley’s official channels.
