Role Model Mourns a Relationship on New Single “Oh, Gemini”

Two years after his debut album Rx, Role Model has returned with a new single entitled “Oh, Gemini.” His last single, “a little more time,” was released in February 2023, making new music long overdue for the Maine-born, Los Angeles-based singer.

On “Oh, Gemini,” Role Model details the unraveling of a relationship and the emotional turmoil in the aftermath of a breakup. He wrote the song with producers Ian Fitchuk and Todd Lombardo while in Nashville.

“I don’t speak too much / So you can’t help but wonder if I’m still in love,” he sings. “Dirty hands from all your trauma I’m digging up / 50 states away but honey I’m thinking of you.”

An accompanying music video was directed by William DeSena and Role Model himself. It also sees the artist’s close friend Kevin Abstract make a cameo appearance.

“I was bracing for loss, it’s that human feeling that we want to mean something to someone after it’s all said and done, nobody wants to feel easily forgotten,” Role Model describes the song.
