Following the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! — marking his Dre’s first late-night TV appearance in 30 years as a guest. Towards the end of the interview, Dre confirmed that his protégé, Eminem, will be releasing his 12th record. He said announced to the crowd, “Eminem is working on his own album, which is coming out this year. He said it was okay for me to make an announcement right here on the show. I’m actually going to get the entire album for the first time tomorrow…I haven’t even heard anything complete that I’ve done, but I’m going to hear it and he’s putting out an album in 2024.” The album follows his 2020, Music to Be Murdered By which debuted on the Billboard 200 chart as No. 1, making it Eminem’s 10th consecutive album to do so. 50 Cent is also another protégé of Dre’s and Snoop has been a longtime collaborator and friend.
