“Goddess” is the song that introduced me to Mira Lora. The glorious and blissful indie-electronic piece is the focus track of her debut EP, Unleashed (released November 2023).
Mira, who is an up-and-coming Swiss singer-songwriter, says “Goddess” is an affirmative song “about people finally accepting their goddess-power, growing up, becoming independent while embracing softness and empathy, caring and self-responsibility, with a lot of fire and surrender to this cyclic life.“
She reveals, “Some moons ago, my mom sat me down and told me that I would be the fourth generation of women in her family who wouldn’t pursue music the way they had hoped for. In that moment, I realized that my artistic journey isn’t mine alone, and that I am ready to finally step into my power so I can wholeheartedly follow my dreams—for all those before me who couldn’t.“
