Aston Martin has announced the launch of the new Vantage, designed to stand as a testament to the automaker’s dedication to creating vehicles that blend luxurious aesthetics with exhilarating performance.
The new Vantage is hailed as the most driver-focused and fastest model in its 74-year storied history, embodying a pure celebration of speed engineered with precision. It marks a significant milestone, following the successful introduction of the DB12 Coupe and Volante.
While smaller in profile compared to its big brother, the new Vantage packs a notable punch, thanks to its hand-built 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine. As a result of this powerhouse, producing 656 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, the Vantage is capable of a top speed of 202 mph and a 0-60 mph time of roughly 3.4 seconds.
Aston Martin has meticulously re-engineered the Vantage to offer an unparalleled balance of power and agility. The vehicle features a perfect 50:50 weight distribution and advanced suspension, underpinning its highly evolved aluminum structure. This foundation is designed to offer a definitive driving experience, further enhanced by the latest generation of adaptive dampers and a comprehensive redesign of the engine cooling system to manage the increased thermal load.
The exterior of the Vantage is equally as impressive, exuding a muscular presence that is unmistakably Aston Martin and that nods to the DNA of the DB12. Its redesigned front end features a larger grille and integrated splitter, contributing to improved cooling and aerodynamics. The iconic Aston Martin side strake, frameless door mirrors and a wider rear bumper with quad exhaust tailpipes complete the dramatic look, ensuring the Vantage makes a statement from every angle.
Inside, the Vantage offers a sanctuary of luxury and cutting-edge technology — defined by clean architectural lines and the finest materials, including hand-stitched Bridge of Weir hides. State-of-the-art connected technology and a stunning audio system developed in partnership with Bowers & Wilkins make for an immersive experience for both the driver and passengers.
Aston Martin’s Chief Executive Officer, Amedeo Felisa, emphasized the importance of staying true to the brand’s heritage while embracing the future, stating “The newest model makes an unwavering commitment to high performance in its purest and most explicit form.”
Production for the new Aston Martin Vantage is set to begin this quarter, with deliveries expected to begin as early as the second quarter of this year. For those interested in exploring the vehicle further, the brand has launched a configurator as well as a dedicated inquiry page.
