Cut, proportion, and silhouette take the forefront in the minimalist luxury fashion collection. Emphasizing the notion of “refined simplicity,” Alexander McQueen plays with rounded or sharply defined shoulders and narrow waists. The capsule is comprehensive, featuring a range of overcoats, trench coats, parkas, leathers, denim, shirts, and shorts. The designs reflect “a softer, more molded, and curved approach” compared to previous anatomical investigations. Drawing inspiration from archive McQueen pieces, the collection incorporates ceremonial embroidery, soft appliquéd harnessing, hand-crocheted knits, and chiaroscuro flowers.
