Hannibal Regional offers free Health Accountability Support Group for healthier lifestyles | KHQA

Hannibal Regional is offering residents the opportunity to join a free Health Accountability Support Group to make lasting change in their lifestyle and habits.

Hannibal Regional is pleased to offer a Health Accountability Support Group that is free and open to anyone. This group offers a foundation to help implement and maintain healthy lifestyle choices.

Topic areas that will be discussed in the support group will include fitness, nutrition, mental health and many other topics.

“This Health Accountability Support Group is geared to anyone who is interested in making long-term changes to their lifestyle. Many people share that the maintenance phase of healthy habits is the hardest for them,” shares Kristy Taylor, Registered Dietitian.

“This group offers the environment of people with similar interests to gather and support each other’s health journey. With personal commitment and under the accountability of healthcare professionals, this group is designed to support various parts of healthy living.”

Taking time out of your week to support your own health isn’t selfish – it’s self-care.

The Health Accountability Support group meets every Thursday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Sunroom, located just inside Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Please note, the support group will meet in the Courtyard Café Conference Room on the following dates: 2/1, 2/15, 3/28, 5/30, 6/20, 7/25, 9/26, 10/17 and 12/5.
