Fender Taps VERDY's Wasted Youth To Rework Two Signature Models

VERDY‘s Wasted Youth has joined hands with Fender to whip up two custom-reworked models. Dubbed the “LIMITED WASTED YOUTH TELECASTER®” and “LIMITED WASTED YOUTH MUSTANG® BASS,” the vibrant works of art meld elevated aesthetic design with Fender’s peak performance features.

The LIMITED WASTED YOUTH TELECASTER® covers the traditional 60’s TELECASTER® CUSTOM’s body in a striking allover logo print, featuring Wasted Youth x Budweiser’s collaborative branding. An engraved neckplate rounds out the distinguished design, with the guitar housed in a hand-stenciled hard case. Equipped with two Vintage-Style Single-Coil Tele® pickups, sound quality is unmatched. A complimentary co-branded tee and a range of guitar picks also come with it.

As for the LIMITED WASTED YOUTH MUSTANG® BASS, the model takes a captivating, sparkling blue hue, with the Wasted Youth logo stamped up top. Also polished off with an engraved neckplate and VERDY-curated casing, VERDY drew from his own experiences with the tactical, transportable MUSTANG BASS to inform the design. With the Vintage-Style Split Single-Coil Mustang Bass®, crisp sound quality is ensured.

Both models run for ¥ 385,000 yen – or roughly $2,705 USD. Take a closer look in the gallery above, and visit Fender’s website for each instrument’s full detailing.

Cop the pieces at Fender Japan’s flagship location on Saturday, December 23 at 11 a.m. JST, or on Fender Japan’s webstore beginning at 12 p.m. JST – 10 p.m. EST on Friday, December 22.
