Apple hosted its annual launch event yesterday – the biggest surprise being that no new iPhones were announced. Instead, the tech company focussed on its Apple Watch Series and iPad range.

Apple Watch Series 6 and SE

Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 6 which includes the Watch SE – a new low-end model. The SE priced from $279 sports an expansive retina display and advanced sensors.
The Apple Watch SE, successor to Apple Watch Series 3, uses the S5 System in Package (SiP) and dual-core processor, which also powers the Series 5. The Verge reports that this could deliver up to two times better performance than from the Series 3.
The Watch Series 6 is Apple’s newest flagship wearable which includes a Blood Oxygen sensor. It comes in a new blue, red, silver, space grey or gold aluminium.
8th Generation iPad and iPad Air

Apple Unveils the 8th-Gen 10.2-inch iPad With A12 Chip, Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Support. Alongside this is the redesigned 10.9-Inch iPad Air With A14 Chip, All-Screen Design, Touch ID in Power Button, and USB-C.
The tech company confirmed that it’s new watched would ship without power adapters but the iPad Air would include a 20W USB-C Charger.

Apple also introduced Apple One bundles with Apple Music, Apple TV+, pricing starts at $14.95/Month and announced the Fitness+ workout service for $9.99/Month.
