Emma Stone Is Scientifically Resurrected In 'POOR THINGS' Trailer

Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone is among the best in her field, constantly staring in dominant films that reflect her daring capabilities. Her latest delivery has received an official trailer following its debut at the Venice Film Festival.

POOR THINGS is odd and unorthodox, leaving viewers at the edge of their seats observing Stone’s magnificent portrayal. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, POOR THINGS sees Stone play the humorous and striking Bella Baxter, who falls in love with handsome lawyer Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo). She takes on a new life after being scientifically resurrected by Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). She travels the world with Wedderburn, showing an eye for adventure and becoming fascinated with bold human emotion.

POOR THINGS‘ debut was praised far and wide, outlining Stone’s jarring performance as one of her best. The film will be released in select theatres on December 8, followed by a global release on December 22. Watch the full trailer above.
