PinkPantheress has finally released her debut album, Heaven Knows. The highly-anticipated project comes two years after the artist’s popular breakout EP, To Hell with It, which was released in October of 2021.
Leading up to the album’s release, the Bath-born artist released the tracks “Mosquito,” “Capable of love,” and “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” featuring Ice Spice. With the debut album finally hitting the airwaves, it is clear that PinkPantheress has no intention of going away soon – adding new layers to her sound.
On Heaven Knows, PinkPantheress’ bedroom pop and alt-pop sound still preside. But her knack for pop hits is elevated through the inclusion of varying sounds and new production from deeper baselines to club-like tunes. Additionally, the 13 tracks album comes together with features from Rema, Central Cee, Kelela and Ice Spice – contrasting her To Hell with It mixtape which included no features.
Similar to To Hell with It, the fall-released project harbors moody sentiments that explore love and longing alongside celebrating life’s joy-filled moments. Regardless of the specific theme, it’s without question that PinkPantheress’ latest is a strong debut – exciting fans old and new.
