Toyota has teased two new electric vehicle concepts, a sports car dubbed the FT-Se and an SUV by named the FT-3e, both of which are expected to be revealed in full at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, which begins at the end of October.
While details are scarce, four total photos have surfaced, providing some insight into what the vehicles might look like. The most exciting of the two is the FT-Se, which in the teased photos is badged with the Gazoo Racing or “GR” logo, front and center at the vehicle’s rear ducktail spoiler.
Other standout design elements include a low and wide sporty stance, a two-seat cockpit complete with a yoke steering wheel, massive diffusers and a combination of sharp and curvy lines. Other noticeable features include a dashboard that showcases a variety of different display screens, at least three based on the images available.
As for the EV SUV, the FT-3e, details are even more scarce, as the images don’t reveal any interior aspects. However, based on what we can see, it looks chunky and it looks futuristic, with a brake light that goes the full length of the vehicle’s rear end. Other stand-out details that might be missed if you don’t zoom in include exterior displays on the doors that showcase information like cabin temperature and battery charge.
While no technical details are available at the time of writing, more is expected to be revealed in late October, when Toyota presents the vehicles at the Tokyo Motor Show.
