While BTS is on hiatus while some of its members complete South Korea’s mandatory military service, Jung Kook, the youngest of the group, still has a few years before he’s required to enlist. The singer has taken the opportunity to work on his solo music career.
Over the past few months, he’s released music here and there, including a collaboration with Latto entitled “Seven.” He returned a week ago to announce that he’d be putting out a song with Jack Harlow, “3D,” on Friday, October 6.
At last, the K-pop star has given a concrete update on his solo album. The LP is called GOLDEN and will be released on November 3 via Big Hit.
The project takes its name from Jung Kook’s “golden moments” as a solo artist, as well as his fan-given moniker of “Golden Maknae” – meaning “golden youngest” in Korean – as a member of BTS. Including “Seven” and “3D,” the LP will comprise 11 tracks in a dance music style somewhat to what fans have come to love from BTS.
Jung Kook’s debut solo effort GOLDEN is available for pre-order now on Weverse. The LP is out in full on November 3.
In other music news, Kid Cudi revealed INSANO will have more than 40 tracks.
