43rd Tejano Music Awards: More Performers Announced for the Biggest Night of the Year

The 43rd annual Tejano Music Awards, the most prestigious event in the Tejano music industry, is getting closer and more exciting. The Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA), the organization behind the awards, has just revealed more names of the performers who will grace the stage at the Boeing Center at Tech Port, on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

Joining the already impressive lineup of Siggno, Joe Lopez, Ricardo Castillon y La Diferenzia, Destiny Navaira, Isabel Marie Sanchez, Mike Gonzalez & The Iconiczz, Grupo Asalto, Suenatron, and Paula DeAnda are three more acts that will surely delight the fans of Tejano music: Laura Denisse Y Los Brillantes, Savannah V, and Tortilla Factory with special guest Paula DeAnda.

Laura Denisse Y Los Brillantes is a band that blends Americana, country, folk, Tejano, and Mexican music genres. They are originally from Monterrey, Mexico, but moved to Nashville to pursue their musical dreams. The band’s debut album, Fortune, features 11 original songs that showcase the band’s diverse influences and talents.

Savannah V is a rising star in the Tejano music industry. She started singing at the age of 5 and has won several talent competitions. The former “American Idol” contestant released her debut album, Savannah, in 2013. She is known for her powerful voice and energetic performances.

Tortilla Factory is a legendary band that has been making music since 1973. Founded by Tony “Ham” Guerrero, the band has gone through several changes and generations but has always maintained its quality and originality. The band plays a variety of genres, such as Tejano, jazz, funk, salsa, and R&B. They have won several awards and nominations, including a Grammy nomination in 2010. The current lineup features Tony’s son Alfredo Antonio Guerrero as the lead vocalist and bandleader. The group will debut two new collaborations with Paula DeAnda during their performance.

The Tejano Music Awards 2023 promises to be a night to remember, with amazing performances from some of the best artists in the genre. The event will also honor the winners of various categories, such as Male Vocalist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and many more.
