Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Oderhwo Joseph Efe, better known as Carter Efe, has raised an alarm that he is being blackmailed by someone with his private video.
He said the blackmailer was threatening to leak his bedroom video.
The ‘Machala’ crooner said he decided to notify the public before his private video was released by the blackmailer.
On his X handle, Cater Efe wrote, “I am here to publicly announce that I am being blackmailed. And that my sextape will be released soon.
“I am just here to let everyone know before it’s out.”
DAILY POST reports that there is a growing trend of private videos of Nigerian celebrities leaking online.
Nollywood actress, Moyo Lawal made headlines recently after her private video surfaced on the internet.
She, however, clarified that the bedroom video was with her estranged fiance and that it was released without her consent.
The thespian threatened to take legal action.
