Cadillac Unveils Updated 2025 CT5 with a Focus on Tech

Cadillac has unveiled a refreshed and more advanced 2025 CT5 at the North American International Detroit Auto Show, featuring a bolder front-end design, as well as increased comfort, safety and technology features. The highlight of the update is a new 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display.

Stand-out design updates include a  revised front fascia that includes a lower and wider front grille, redesigned Cadillac signature vertical lighting and stacked LED headlamps. The CT5 Sport trim also boasts a performance black mesh grille and other black accents at the exterior.

Under the hood, the CT5 is powered by a standard 2.0L Turbo engine that generates 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, while an available 3.0L Twin-Turbo engine offers 335 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle also features optional all-wheel drive, enhancing traction and vehicle control in a variety of driving conditions.

The centerpiece of the car, its new 33-inch-diagonal LED color touchscreen display, is capable of 9K resolution and curves toward the driver, offering a technology-forward and personalized experience. With Google built-in compatibility, drivers can access hands-free communication, live traffic updates and download their favorite apps including podcasts, news, and music.

Additional new features across the lineup include optional 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, standard Blind Zone Steering Assist and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, available Traffic Sign Recognition and Intelligent Speed Assist, as well as Driver Attention Assist incorporated with available Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology.

The vehicle is expected to become available for order in the spring of this year and will be available in two launch colors, Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic — more information can be found on the automaker’s official site.

“CT5 continues to redefine American luxury and the enhancements for 2025 take it even further,” said Alex MacDonald, CT5 chief engineer, adding “The new advanced technologies enhance the driver’s personal connection in a sedan already renowned for its driving spirit, comfort and technology.”
