SZA has announced the deluxe edition of her sophomore studio effort SOS, switching out the title of the new version to Lana.
Revealing the news during a recent show, SZA confirmed that Lana will drop sometime this fall with around seven to 10 songs in total. She also teased that “the deluxe is like a whole other album,” but did not share any additional info such as new guest features.
SOS dropped in early December 2022 and marked her first full-length release in five years. It featured guest verses from Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott and Ol’ Dirty Bastard and went on to debut at No. 1, breaking the record for the largest streaming week for an R&B album in the process.
Stay tuned for more info on SZA’s Lana.
Elsewhere in music, Cardi B x Megan Thee Stallion and James Blake lead the week’s Best New Tracks.
