Upgraded Points, a website dedicated to teaching travelers about points and miles, is offering $1,500 to a traveler to upgrade to first class in exchange for honest feedback on their experience.
The company chose $1,500 because it reflects the average cost of a cross-country flight, which is $1400.
“A traveler may spend as little as $400 for their ticket if traveling from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in November, or upwards of $1,400 if flying from New York to Los Angeles in the same time frame,” Upgraded Points shared.
The website is aimed at first-time first-class flyers willing to provide unbiased reviews. The contest winner must travel on a U.S. domestic round-trip flight, which must be completed by the end of 2023. Once the trip is over, the winner will be required to fill out a scorecard with all the details about their experience.
Interested individuals must be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply for this opportunity. To be considered for the $1,500, all applicants must complete the entire application form, which includes questions about their travel plans, preferred airline, home airport, destination, and a brief statement explaining why they are the best candidate to receive the reward.
