The first trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s arrived in June, giving viewers a brief overview at the movie adaptation of the long-running video franchise but not much in terms of real action. A second trailer has now debuted with a more gorey look at the upcoming flick.
Josh Hutcherson stars as a nighttime security guard who isn’t aware of what he signed up for when taking on a gig at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Come the evening, he learns he’ll have to fight for his life to make it through the night.
Also making an appearance in the film are murderous animatronics by the names of Foxy, Bonnie, Chica and Freddy.
Emma Tammi is directing a script co-written with Seth Cuddeback and the original video game’s creator, Scott Cawthorn. Alongside Hutcherson, the cast includes Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, Matthew Lillard, Lucas Grant and Jessica Blackmore.
