The Rolls-Royce Spectre Makes Its Southeast Asia Debut in Singapore

The Rolls-Royce Spectre Makes Its Southeast Asia Debut in Singapore

Singapore becomes the first in Southeast Asia to welcome the highly-anticipated Rolls-Royce Spectre, the automaker’s first-ever fully electric vehicle.

Following its grand Singaporean debut, the state-of-the-art vehicle is set to embark on a tour across the region, marking a bold new chapter for the luxury automotive brand in Southeast Asia.

“Singapore remains pivotal for our brand in the region. With Spectre’s futuristic design, intricate interiors, and groundbreaking engineering, it truly epitomizes the essence of a modern-day Rolls-Royce,” shared Irene Nikkein, Regional Director Asia-Pacific for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

The journey of the Spectre began in 2021 when Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made the historic announcement of its venture into electric mobility. Committing to an all-electric portfolio by 2030, the brand first unveiled the Spectre to the world in West Sussex, England, last October.

The ultra-luxury electric super coupé not only speaks of the brand’s innovative drive but also resonates with a historical connection. In 1900, Rolls-Royce co-founder Charles Rolls, after experiencing an electric vehicle named The Columbia Electric Carriage, envisioned an electric future for automobiles — with his prophecy materializing with the introduction of Spectre, drawing a bridge between the automaker’s rich past and its electrifying future.

Powered by a 190kW front motor and a 360kW rear motor, the Spectre boasts 584 hp with 900Nm of torque that enables it to achieve a 0-60 time of 4.4 seconds.

For those looking to shop in Singapore, allocations start at S$2,138,888 SGD and vary based on specifications, as each Spectre is a bespoke build. For more on the Spectre check out Rolls-Royce Asia Pacific’s official channels.
