The Killers have announced their return with new single “Your Side of Town,” out this Friday, August 25th.
“Hello everyone, with much excitement we present you with ‘Your Side of Town,’” the band shared in a social media statement. “It’s got the ghosts of a lot of synth music that inspired us over the years. And yet somehow feels completely our own. Now it’s yours! Turn it up.”
“Your Side of Town” is The Killers’ first new music since last year’s one-off single “boy,” which originated from the Las Vegas group’s sessions for 2021’s Pressure Machine.

Earlier this month, The Killers issued an apology after getting mixed up in the complicated politics of post-Soviet Eastern Europe by bringing a Russian fan on stage to play drums during their show in the country of Georgia. “We recognize that a comment, meant to suggest that all of The Killers’ audience and fans are ‘brothers and sisters’ could be misconstrued,” they wrote in a statement. “We did not mean to upset anyone and we apologize. We stand with you and hope to return soon.”
