The African Muzik Magazine Awards is gearing up for its 10th anniversary edition, which is set to hold in Dallas, United States of America.
Over the past decade, the awards ceremony has brought together musical talents from across Africa.
According to a statement sent to Saturday Beats, the show will hold sometime in September at the Meyerson Symphony Centre in Dallas. The event, which will last for three days, will feature a fashion show, pre-party, music panel, and other activities.
Speaking on what the organisers have in stock for the forthcoming programme, the founder of the recognition event, Anderson Obiagwu, said, “Our anticipation knows no bounds, as we are set to offer an unparalleled immersion into the essence of African music. Reflecting on the past decade, we bear witness to the odyssey undertaken by African music artistes, who now perform at stadiums and other huge venues across the world. The challenges surmounted in this journey are immense, and we stand poised to commemorate the very essence of African music and its luminaries.”
