British UFC Champ Michael Bisping To Star in ‘Den of Thieves 2’

British UFC Champ Michael Bisping To Star in 'Den of Thieves 2'

Britain’s first-ever UFC champion Michael Bisping is officially on board to star in Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, alongside returning actors Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr., according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Bisping appeared in the original film, with a cameo as the character Connor. It’s confirmed that Bisping will reprise the role in the forthcoming follow-up film.

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera began filming in the U.K. and the Canary Islands in April. The sequel, which is written and directed by Christian Gudegast, will pick up where the original left off, following Big Nick as he traces down enemies on European streets and inches closer to catching Donnie (Jackson).

The original movie, which followed a team of police officers attempting to seize a group of bank robbers, starred Butler, Jackson, Pablo Schreiber, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Evan Jones, Dawn Olivieri, and Mo McRae.

Bisping boasts an ever-expanding roster of acting credits, which now include Red Sonja, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, Twin Peaks, Warrior, Never Back Down: Revolt and Triple Threat. Additionally, the retired mixed martial artist appears in Universal’s documentary, Bisping, as well as Netflix’s unscripted competition series, Hyperdrive.

In more entertainment news, Martin Scorsese dropped the official trailer for Killers of the Flower Moon.
