Chhavi Mittal shares her ’20-minute’ quick breakfast recipe

Chhavi Mittal’s social media account gives a candid peek into her everyday life, as the actor-producer regularly shares health, fitness, and travel glimpses on the same. As such, she recently gave followers a peep of her breakfast plate and also shared the recipe for those interested to try the same. “What’s on my plate today? This is what I’m eating for breakfast!” she captioned the post.

Chhavi started by sharing that when she first shared a picture of her breakfast meal, a lot of people wanted to know what it was. “It was sabudana vada laced with eggs and lettuce. It has roughly around 25 grams of sago, which has approx 20 grams of carbs. It has two eggs, which are roughly around 12 grams of protein. The lettuce in this dish is my fibre for the day,” she shared, adding that it’s a very easy breakfast to make.

Additionally, the 42-year-old said that it is very good for health. “Sabudana is believed to be a great source of carbohydrates. It’s not the best form of carbs if you want to lose weight but if you can eat it in moderation, it’s one of the tastiest and the best things available. I absolutely love eating sabudana,” Chhavi said.

In the following post, she went on to share the recipe for this breakfast meal, which you too can easily try at home. “Once I had shared my breakfast dish with you, which was sabudana vada laced with eggs and salad, a lot of you asked me to share the recipe,” she said in the video, sharing that it takes just 20 minutes to prepare this quick recipe.

Ingredients

*Pre-soaked sabudana – 50 gm
*Boiled potato – 1
*Crushed peanuts – 25 gm
*Chopped coriander
*Chopped lettuce
*Whole eggs – 2
*Salt to taste
*Oil

Method

*Mix sabudana, peanuts, potato, and coriander. Add salt to taste.
*Make vadas and air fry them for 15 minutes. Flip, if needed.
*Put some oil in the pan. To the oil, add the lettuce. Keep it on the full flame so that it doesn’t leave the water.
