Sony Pictures Animations has unveiled the official art book of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Authored by Ramin Zahed, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse: The Art of the Movie takes a deep dive into the art and artistry of the sequel and features “exclusive concept art, sketches, character designs, and storyboards,” plus interviews with important figures like writers/producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, “who offer insights into their creative process.”
Across the Spider-Verse sees the return of Miles Morales as he teams up with Gwen Stacy and other Spider-People to take on their most powerful villain yet. The sequel opened with $120.5 million USD domestically and logged 2023’s second-largest opening weekend yet, and earned $88.1 million USD from 59 regions at the international box office, totalling to $208.6 million USD.
