American rapper BabyTron recently dropped his latest full-length album titled 6. The project’s lead single “100 Bars,” came with a conceptual music video from Lyrical Lemonade directed by Cole Bennett.
Bennett has a special knack for bringing out the best in both established and up-and-coming artists. Having directed some of the most iconic music videos for Jack Harlow, Juice WRLD, and Lil Yachty, the collective has gone on to feature Yeat‘s “Rich Minions” on a trailer for Minions: The Rise of Gru and help popularize London-based rapper Central Cee in the U.S. through the “Doja” music video. The latest music video for “100 Bars” seamlessly scrolls through a lineup of 100 different suspects, all played by BabyTron, as he delivers a bar for each number.
“Knock sixty-five times before they let us in the door. If it wasn’t for the rap, I’d be on Route 66.
Or probably have like sixty-seven credit cards in the whip,” BabyTron raps for part of the sequence.
